MC Wang is an artist who uses both digital and traditional media.

Her work explores abstraction, gesture, texture, and the emotional resonance of line and color.

She studied art in college but majored in education. After a career in education she returned to creating art in a variety of ways especially digital media- developing layered works that combine original drawing, painted digital marks, collage, and floral or organic forms.

Her work is informed by sound, writing, artifacts, memory, and the visual language of place. Lines may function as rhythm, notation, evidence, or fragments of an unknown text; layered color and texture create spaces that shift between the observed and imagined. Rather than working toward literal representation, she uses abstraction to hold atmosphere, movement, and private associations.

She lives and works in Utah.
